Yay.

Yup again know that feeling when you want to then just curl up in a ball in the corner but have to act like its no big deal and normal when your insides then go at a million miles and hour and your mind is saying what a dufus! lol.....
Rather common place for myself... Doesn't make it any easier though!
((((hugs))))

Yeah, you get it.
Why are there never any rocks big enough to crawl under around here?

Thanks, uncle.

I have weak ankles like a fawn lol, inherited from my dad.

Can't tell what if any damage is done yet.

I am terrified. If it is injured, I won't be able to work out.

Fear doesn't begin to describe it. I need it, it's the thing that stands between me and a mental collapse. Depression and anorexia, if I can't work out I'll fall back to where I was.

Also I can't gauge the physical pain because the emotional pain is raging.

Can't let my mind go there.

Any positive vibes you could spare would mean the world to me right now.

Are you kidding?
Alien ankles are indestructible.

I can see that on wikipedia they're cooking it with bacon and eggs, what's a sacrilege. they should be cooked with chocolate only. although, i cook it with chocolate milk as well, and put some extra chocolate on top. and if someone dares to say it's too much chocolate in one sentence well they obviously know nothing :P

Grits.
What an unappetising name.

I put shell grit on the bottom of my birdcage, that's the only grit I know.

I have heaps of chocolate of varying percentages so Frankenfido won't starve. :D

I'm Frankenfido now? :lmao: just give me chocolate, and call me any name you choose, I promise to be a good monster :D

And maybe you'd like different spelling - our German brothers have a very neat way of putting it on paper: Grieß

If that isn't appetising enough, well Grobgemahlenes definitely is :P

Maybe some ligaments strains! Is it swelling?

Try raising your ankle above your heart, ie rest a few pillows beneath it. Use ice bath with water for 20 seconds then transfer that to a warm bath for 20 seconds then alternate. If it is too painful to walk on the next day please go see a doc for a possible xray as hairline fracture may have occurred. From experience breaks are less painful than ligament/tendon tears. Also break only 6 week recovery as opposed to several months if ligament damage. The fact you heard a crack may be an indication something a little more serious took place. The sooner you get it looked at the better.

i'm thinking broken bone, too. injuries get ice (wrapped in a towel) 20 min. per hour for first 24 hours, rest, elevation and an ace bandage or splint, depending on the injury.

Agreed! but I'm not sure would I be able to adopt you as mother; if you don't mind beards, perhaps as a bearded aunt might work.

What ever it is it will heal! You are very young, so in worst case scenario it's just a little break from working out :)

In my younger years I wriggled the ankle many times, and the pain was excruciating. Every time it must have been nothing serious, because the pain went away very quickly. So if you are lucky this is the case for you too.

Let's do something constructive today... like getting rid of more stuff

Do you think an old samsonite suitcase has any value? It's in plastic, has wheels and I think I got it for Christmas in my teens. It was supposed to be a good gift, because I could use it for travel when I got older. My mother has borrowed it several times, I haven't used it once.

^Sorry, my cellphone is old fashioned. You will probably find it under settings somewhere.
