I used to be very obsessed with present-wrapping!

I had a whole drawer full of stuff (ribbons, paper, bows, etc). People would bring me things and say "will you wrap this for me?" I was very artistic and perfectionist about it, but the pressure to always live up to my image of a perfect present-wrapper just started to annoy me. I felt like people had all these expectations that any present I gave them was always going to be a work of art, and I didn't want to do it any more.

Nowadays, I just wrap things up with any old wrapping paper any old way, and forget about geometrically and obsessively getting all the folds symmetrically perfect... :oops:

My brother can wrap presents. I can create mummies but that's another story.
