Okay so i learned this yesterday but whatever.

Michael C. Hall has cancer and will be okay.

I've learnt the name of that weird looking bug that another member has shown me it hangs around in my garden...

I finally found out where the term 'on the wagon' came from.
Tony Robinson (Baldrick from Black Adder) has a series called 'Crime and Punishment' and in one episode he tells how prisoners on their way to the gallows to be hung would be offered a pint by the publicans of the taverns they passed on the way, but the priest accompanying the condemned man would say "No, no, he's on the wagon!"

...As Blackadder would say "You complete bastard!"

Never to cover up a botched attempt of transferring a logo on a T-shirt with fabric paint. It ended up in a disaster, and the fabric paint rubbed off, all over that shirt. I have two band T-shirts. One that turned blue and one that almost looks tie-dyed. I'm going to buy some colourfast bleach and bleach the blue one back to its natural white colour.

I learnt that the Swedish for teapot is tekanna and that they don't have a word for tea (as in teatime as opposed to teacup).

I've learned to chose to be happy, as it will be better for my all around health, in the long run.

I learned that being a Linux user in college has its advantages.

I've learned that Mick Avory was a Heroin Addict at one time. That doesn't lower my opinion of him. He's still the #1 Kink in my heart.

So apparently the new people who live behind us are probably slight country boys. basically i'm living in a house that has another house connected to it. sorta like a duplex. the walls are thin as well. This should be an interesting semester.

Another thing i learned today. i keep wanting to go back home but only for my warm bed and comfy room. as much as i love the train behind our house that passes at two in the morning, the ghetto like neighborhood, the strange cats that wander around, etc. i would really love to go back home at night. sigh... *hugs my cat*

I learned that this girl I have been seeing informally for a while has been using me for a ride to the party, a free high, and nothing more.
