For me it was a sensory thing.
I'm still attracted to women but will pass on the sex.

On the cheek, yes. On the mouth...likely not. [Maybe if it was a very brief, little kiss...?]
It's fine when they kiss, and only one couple actually has a child [Nagisa and Tomoya]. Another couple [Cloud and Tifa] also have children, but they're adopted.

Passion requires work.
You don't get passionate about things you don't know about, or know little about.
Passion is developed by intense interest + close acquaintance.
But there has to be a spark there too.

Is it a romantic dream or are you adventuring together, or what?

The Japanese have a method for treating chronic lack of discipline.
Which is called something special as most Japanese methods are but I can't remember the word now.

It requires you to set a timer and do something with all your heart and soul for exactly one minute, but you must do it at exactly the same time every day.

This gets you in a disciplined mindset, without feeling overburdened because it's only one minute out of your day.
Then you can incrementally increase the time.
