Anyway, let us not dwell. If anyone wants to talk about this more, please do it in private. I want to try and go on as if nothing has happened.

Fair enough.

I have to walk a mile and a bit to get my brother's friends and then bring them back to my house. Then I have to do the ironing. Some summer holiday this is.

I am less than impressed.

They've broken several rules (set by my mother) and my brother refused to listen to me because he feels he has to act "cool".

Now, the dog needs to be bathed. Such stupid, stupid imbeciles.

Anyone present in this still-echoey thread?

I went off for ironing, followed by a meltdown (though a not particually bad one), and then dinner.

Now, I'm back!

What have you been doing?

Fair enough :)

I've been lazy today, when I shouldn't have been.
I did some "work" on the computer though between posts :)

Lazy days are, well, lazy. :D

My mother holds the opinion that, because I have officially left school and I am unemployed, I should do more housework. There is also a highly unfair rule in place which says that if we have friends around we are exempt. It's abused by my brother, in my opinion.

What sort of work?

Yeah, I myself am...well, not very self-sufficient at all! :P

Well, I guess it's not work so much as it is hobbies, though most would find them rather tedious!
Edit: And yes, I am almost always on the computer ;)

This brother of yours sounds like a bit of a scallywag, Froggo!

That he is.

He's alright when away from friends. Quite the scallywag when in their company.

Preteens, I tell you. *mentally waves stick*

Hello. I figured I'd poke my head in here for a minute and say hi.

Groups of young males and chest thumping go hand in hand.
