that thing i remember again ; once on the (mudd) hiking day to a desert island there was the group of deaf young adults, all had to wait on the island for the boat (tides changing thing)
when the boat arrived the horn honked long and loud, and with the change of the weather it would be a matter of time before the storm would storm, but no matter how much honking: the deaf and their professional helpers wouldn't turn up, the jokes on the delay got more irritated as time passed, finally they were found and all could go, but the storm had already started
what were the helpers thinking? (and doing?) (it was somewhat known that abuse in institutions was happening/ a certain type of person will likely be drawn to 'work' with incapacitated or defenseless people)
