Why do I always pick instruments that are so difficult to play??

I feel very good about myself today ,because even though I had a really bad day, when my relative ,who is the same age as me but apparently looks up to me as ''a teacher'' ,came to me upset about a friend (who is not a friend afterall) ,I put aside my own problems and needs ,and just talked about hers and gave her really good advice, and made her laugh for ''the first time all week''...(I hope she was not laughing at me)... 
and made plans to meet up to give her something to look forward to,(despite my chronic phobias)...I just hope I can keep my promise...

In answer to your question TenPencePiece, I've been learning to play the 5 string banjo for a month now. I also play the guitar (and I've dabbled with the drums and a bit of bass guitar).

Both very fine instruments indeed! I've never really played them though. But I can always appreciate a decent pianist.

I wish I could play a musical instrument.I was Given a Electric guitar as a present before because my dad plays ,They thought it would be a good way of bringing us together... 
anyway It is sitting in the corner of my room and I should attempt to self teach myself one of these days...
