I'm doing all right, Froya. There are times when WP screws up on me, is slow. Or I don't have much time.

Sorry for the late reply. I was out in the woods. Glad to hear you are doing alright :) Yeah WP screws up on all of us at times. I'm mostly active in this thread, so I don't notice much of what's going on elsewhere on the forum.

My apartment is ok. Been thinking about painting it, to get some more colors here. Also going to change the sink and closet underneath in the bathroom to something smaller, that way I get room to put in a shower cabinet. Also I wish it wasn't so easy to hear the neighbors. That goes both ways, as I know my walking bothers the downstairs neighbor. I don't relax a hundered percent when walking, trying to thread a little bit lighter. That's very hard though.
I love the terrace. Sitting out there in the sun is relaxing.

I bet you have nice woods/forests in your area.

Are they primarily pine (evergreen), or primarily deciduous (with leaves which fall every autumn?)

Unfortunately there are not much woods left close to where I live. Us humans take up all the area. I would say of what's left, there are both (evergreen and deciduous) and mostly combination.

I prefer old and as untouched as possible forests. They tend to cut it down here and there in spots to make timber. During the 13 years I lived in the previous apartment I lost many mushroom places because of that.

It seems as if mushrooms are a "special interest" to you.

^No I wouldn't say that :) I have gathered mushrooms since I was a child. Two of the types I have learned to identify more recent years. Some autumns I have just taken one or two trips, others more.

Fishing was a special interest for some years. I was hooked!! Did it almost every day for hours. From early spring to late autumn.

Fishing is great for those on the Spectrum.

It offers lots of potential solitude.

Yeah it can be. Also all the beautiful nature experiences. Going out around 3 am and then experiencing the sunrise and the quiet water

The last years I haven't felt like fishing much, and get restless very quikly when I do. Unfortunately.

On Friday I wondered...'do any of the teenagers or young adults who come here to do this programme realize that it will take twelve or more years?' I've been doing it for nine or ten.

I would enjoy sleeping on a boat, after looking up at the stars for a while. I would prefer the temperature to be about 15-20 Celsius. I would enjoy waking up to a pretty sunrise---or even a rainbow!

I wish they had these sorts of programs when I was a kid.

When I was a kid, there were no video games. Color TV was a big deal. They made pinball legal in candy stores in NYC in 1973; I used to spend my whole allowance playing pinball!

I used to stay up till 3 in the morning reading the Columbia Encyclopedia.

It has helped me immensely, I will admit that. I am just...a little tired, that is all.
