I don't know how usual it is or not. You are not alone that is for sure. Also how can you miss something you have no desire for :)

I had a high sex drive before menopause, but never knew it until my mid-twenties when I learned to masturbate by reading "our bodies, ourselves."

Hugs are fine; I love hugging people, but I often inadvertently absorb their emotions just by physical contact or by being around people. *sigh*

A lecher is somebody (usually a male) who is a sleazy about how he expresses his sexual desire to (usually women).

A lecher is somebody would lick his lips in front of an "object of sexual desire." Rather than somebody who would talk respectfully to that person.

A lecher might also be the type to masturbate in public.
