I been getting 2-3 hours of sleep each night for the past couple of weeks, it's getting annoying... It's not really sleeping.

This is why I can't sleep, my mind doesn't shut down... Therapist never seems to understand, kinda odd as I think it's somewhat common.

^^No, not really.
My body feels strange.
Like a sickness/dread feeling in my chest and stomach.
Can't remember feeling quite like this before.
A premonition, maybe.

Do you think it is physical or brought on in a psychological manner?

Yea pretty much... I can work 12 hours shifts doing production type work, come home and do errands or side work for another 4-5 hours. I am physically tired, but I would be lucky if I get a few hours of real sleep. My body will be sleep, but mentally I am still thinking about stuff and aware what's physically going on around me.

I mean, if someone breaks in I guess that's a good thing as I would know it.

I kinda figured when you mentioned the other day about a wedding or something and that whatever the doctor had said to you, you had now surpassed that... Correct me if i am wrong, but seems you are using a past ''countdown'' timer which can definitely have negative impact on ones own psyche.. I have friends that have surpassed what was thought by many, many years, even decades... Try to look at it in a way of laughing at what they may have said and have the mentality that they again are wrong, as many NT's are... ha and laugh at their incorrectness... Staying as positive as one can, can have such positive effects....

Yeah, i think i understand, even when i do manage to get to sleep, it rarely is a proper sleep.. I constantly keep waking up... I have slept through a fire alarm before but if someone drops a pin i wake up! go figure!

I have done that, up until now.
All I have said is me laughing at their prognosis.
I'm in no way serious with all that talk.
I'm not even sure if the dread has to do with me personally.
Just feel terrible fear for no apparent reason.

That last line i can definitely relate to... Constant fight or flight... Just the awareness sometimes of feeling that way can increase that inner fear. It is a horrible, horrible thing and zaps ones energy constantly as you are constantly battling it!
If i find an answer to that i will gladly share it...
Am glad you have taken a positive approach... :)

My cat knows something's up too.
She's been smoochy all day, just came and sat practically on me in bed and purring away now.
Animals know.

It was ideal when I lived in my car... I had someone try to open my door and that sound of him pulling the door handle on a locked door was enough for me to open my eyes. I watched the guy try to wiggle his hand through the cracked window. I had a weapon with a mounted light, I pointed it at him and flashed the light. I never saw someone run so fast in my life.

I called the cops and they did a search for the guy, doubt they ever found him. But after that, the cops always patrolled that road when I slept there. I always thought that was cool and was very appreciated.
