^Yes it must feel good to enjoy the freedom, when you actually have put in a lot of effort in studying.

Quil: If you must know, I am never having children.

Rachey: I'm cheering for you!

*becomes utterly deaf/blind to anything Quil posts*

I love babies and children, and the ones that I've met seem to like me well enough, but I don't think I could handle the responsibility, the stress, any of it. Plus the medication and body trauma would probably mess me up until I wouldn't even be myself.

Rachey: You're welcome!
I don't think university appeals to me at all. I suppose I could get a job at a library somewhere...

OMG how could you do this to our child, Kura?

^^

I have a proper terror at the thought, even though it's impossible.
I would be an active danger to a child.
Agh. No. Can't.

I got a sterilization operation at the age of 29. Haven't regret it. I knew that if I one day should want to become a mother (which I so fare have not) I would be a terrible one!

...also there are aliens 8O I'm scared.

I would love to get sterilised.

Did think about donating eggs at one point, purely for financial reasons. You can't get paid for it here legally, but they do a fixed price cost-covering thing to get around it.
Bit of a hassle.
Also, the kid has a right to know who you are when they grow up. That would be weird. But only if they expected me to care about them, and if they had my genes, maybe they wouldn't  .

A practical thinker there  Sounds like quite a bit of hassle just for some money though.

I did it because I was very afraid of getting pregnant. Also I didn't want to get on the pill and experience possible side effects. I was sick of side effects from the antidepressants I was on at the time.

Yeah, I was extremely broke at the time.
Also spoke to someone about a career in prostitution.
Also considered whether I could handle marrying someone and having kids, in exchange for not having to worry about money anymore. That was the only option I found truly harrowing. Living death.
