Now I know a hard walk is walking straight up the side of a mountain following animal trails, rock climbing, edging around narrow rock ledges, squeezing through jungle-like terrain in a gorge, then descending on a loose, stony path.
I tripped and rolled at one stage.
Luckily, I came up against a large rock.
Have quite a bit of bark off my shins.
My legs are dead, soaked in Epsom salts when I got home.
It was totally awesome! :D

It's been awhile since I last went for a long walk in nature... I probably would die now, need to get back into shape.

When I was a lad
I ate four dozen eggs
Ev'ry morning to help me get large
And now that I'm grown
I eat five dozen eggs
So I'm roughly the size of a barge!

Wait a minute! Paul Newman did it in Cool Hand Luke and look what happened. He ate 50 hard-boiled eggs in one hour.

I'm having cravings for poached eggs now.

* makes Raleigh poached eggs *

I wish I could move out-of-state and start a new life. That'd be ideal.

^^ Why, thankyou, Gwen.
They were delicious.

I wish I could go back in time and be kinder to myself.

^^You can be just as kind to yourself now.
I used to wish that, but then questioned the point of wishing to change the past while in the present.

^...I definitely need more sleep.
Two minor characters in my funny story were an ambiguously gay couple, then one of them revealed herself to be female and turned into a snake [it totally makes sense in context; the snake woman is an aspect of the all-goddess, who then asks her would-be lover if he 'can love me like this?']

I rarely go to the dentist, but when I got my top 2 wisdom teeth out, he was amazed at the health of my teeth and started asking me about my dietary and hygiene habits.
When I told him I don't use toothpaste he was even more amazed.
I've never had so much as a filling.
He also concluded my tea drinking (fluoride in tea - didn't know that) and low grain/low sugar/high fat/high vegetable diet was a contributing factor.

^I use baking soda instead of toothpaste because I can't stand the mint flavour. I do, admittedly, eat too many sugary things--that is, things with maple syrup and honey and rice syrup [and fruit].

^ I used baking soda for years, but switched to coconut oil, which is a less abrasive and whitens amazingly.
Sometimes I mix a bit of baking soda in with the coconut oil.

I'm not a fan of fruit.
I will use honey sometimes but only a very small amount.

I never even thought of using coconut oil. Thanks! :)
I love love love fruit and berries, but only certain kinds--watermelon, cantelope, apples, pears, bananas, kiwi, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries...

Coconut oil is amazing for teeth, I second that advice.

Yes, i do use my own concoction of baking soda and coconut oil as i make all my washing powders and detergents also... Think its down to my acid reflux that have impacted my back teeth... The dentist is a bit of a mind field for me as i once had a tooth pulled and he didnt administer enough anesthetic, even though i was shaking in pain he refused to administer anymore... Took him over 40 mins to remove that tooth and have somewhat been traumatized by the experience since...
Yes most of the tooth came out in the roll but the socket is still intact, has broken off down to the gum line.... Such is life.
