Is there any class of objects which you like for no discernible reason? (For example, I like really round bowls, but can't for the life of me fathom why.)

Yes, this is going to sound weird yet, I tend to like cups of all shapes and sorts but, can't figuer out the rationale behind such..


Do you collect items which more or less have no artistic value in other people's minds?

yes, i collect other people's cast-offs.

Q- what is the oddest item in your collection of cool stuff?

A-

I'm positive the artist who air brushed this guitar was inspired by H.R. Giger. The guitar itself is of little value (I guess the guy who painted it was afraid he'd mess up and decided to use a cheaper canvas ). I don't play it either as I treat it as an art piece and don't want to wreck the paint job by playing it. Plus the strat shape just isn't my style .

too many to even begin to describe.

Q- name ONE niggling thing that eludes your grasp - one unreachable dream/aspiration or goal?

A: Equanimity (I'm not giving up on it, though!).

Q: What's one thing you've worked hard for and succeeded at?

a two-parter-
learning the old-fashioned way of casting horoscopes [pencil and paper house charts, referring to tables of houses and midnight ephemeris];
and it is a continual upwards evolution of my digital audio restoration skills, though compared to the coasters i was making in 1995, it is a vast improvement. what a contrast- one old-world skill and one state-of-the-art techy skill.

Q- what is the most embarrassing thing you've ever lived through?

A- when I was maybe 13 or so, my mother called the police on my bully that was beating me up every day for quite some time. Anyway the next day the entire school knew and a majority of half the school teased me until I transferred schools. It was embarrassing, unpleasant, and bad

Most likely sound, since I'm not able to often filter out noises very easily during a conversation if it's in a place with a great deal of external racket you could say..


Q--What part of your AS qualities has changed over the many years ?

Likewise, ProfessorX.

A: Hard to say, since a few things have changed. My sensory issues are not as bad--touch-related ones in particular are not so bad these days. I've also learned to recognize (most? many?) emotions.

Q: How do you feel about hugging?

A- Hugging is weird for me. I've not quite figured out why, but certain people I like alot can hug me and it seems pleasant... where as if anybody else hugs me it feels fairly offensive . It's also weird that people I like have to be close friends otherwise they just fall into the other category as offensive. So like even family members hugging me feels icky . Then there was a case of a girl I knew as a very young child (No memories young), and when she hugged me when I was 21... it was pleasant for some reason . To further answer the question... I very much like hugging when it feels pleasant

Q- What is the oddest profession you've ever thought would be interesting to pursue?

A: I briefly considered becoming a cowgirl at one point, albeit not terribly seriously. I also wanted to be an ichthyologist as a child (and kind of wish now that I'd gone with it, but alas), which most people seem to think is very strange, though I don't know why.

Q: How's your handwriting?

A- My handwriting is terrible... child-like even . My printing is dreadful, but my actual signature isn't too bad since it's some funky form of cursive that is more like a drawing. My terrible hand writing baffles me because I'm very good at drawing and don't suffer from the same problem my handwriting does when I draw . I actually think I know what it is though. I draw with mini hatches and lines to form complete lines. In writing I have to use single fluent lines and my hands shake too much to be that precise. Also the amount of time given to write is much less than that of drawing. I made a joke and drew a sentence that looked pretty nice, but it took me like 5 minutes

Q- When you listen to music with lyrics, do you mostly notice the words or the music behind the words?

A: It varies. Sometimes it's all music with the words meaning little to nothing to me, and sometimes I focus on the words (but the music is always important).

Q: What is one song which you appreciate for the lyrics?

when i do notice the lyrics at all [once in a blue moon] i usually misconstrue them - for ages, i thought annie lennox was singing "sweet creams are made of cheese."

Q- describe a song whose lyrics you wildly misconstrued?

...I find the lyrics to be very motivating and pleasant, but barely notice the music in that one . However, whoever made every youtube video thought that the second part of the song belongs on the same track. They are two separate tracks on the real album so the song I'm referring to ends around 4:35

A- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQXrkG_vS-s ...I find this song kinda cool, but when I read the lyrics I was shocked to find out I was wayyy wrong about what he was saying . The song is "Dream Song" by some band called ASG. For example the intro part... I though it said "Fell straight from the sky. 20 pound boxes stacked to the sight"... Where it really says "Pulse straight from the sky. twenty pine boxes all stacked to the side".

Hehe I used to think part of it said "Creatures of light"... and it's really saying "Creatures of violence". Or there's another part in the chorus I thought said "Salvation overflow"... when it says "Salvation Overthrow". I think I could go on quite a bit more, but I won't . It really changes the meaning of the song when I look at the mistakes I made in listening... It goes from being a heavy metal semi-nice song... to a heavy metal not nice song .
