Outdoor spa... Been enjoying life I see
No I only fish with the lures as I described the other day. Instead I tried to specialize in that technique. Learning about how the water temperature and weather effects the sea trout and where to look for them according to that. I got quite god at finding them, and getting them to bite. BUT I still haven't found the best way to land them. I get to few to stay hooked you know. They shake themselves of, or jump. So I have learned not to get disappointed, at this point it's just a pleasant surprise when I can actually take one home with me.
Ahh... The spa was a project i was going to do... The motherboard had been removed so instead of replacing it i was going to convert it to electricity free using a custom built rocket stove, with a drip feed of recycled vegetable oil from the local bakery...
Maybe sharpen your hooks a little more? can pick a hook sharpener up on the cheap and as you will probably know, keep the line tight at all times, never allow any slack if you can, fix your spool before you go out.. ie hang weights off the spool and adjust spool till its a few pounds below breaking strain, ... What pound test line are you using? ( apologies as im sure you know all of this, just not wanting to assume

)
Also is your lure a single hook, double or treble hook?
