Well I'll want to be able to make full journeys on my own some day, I am almost there now, though I would find the transaction with the driver getting on to be quite daunting...
In this instance someone got on with me and got off two stops early.

yeah, it's quite good here now because all you have to do is swipe a card- no asking for a ticket etc

Yeah I mean that's just for the first ride, all you have to do after that is flash the driver your ticket, I'm fine with that.

Here we just swipe cards and we apply for the card by a form, but those only work on the bus routes signed up for that.

I tend to hand the money to the conductor and leave him/her to give me the change. I usually pay a pound (or sometimes two pounds) for my forty pence fare, but oh, well.

Yeah but many people take these things for granted. This is a very large achievement for me, considering that at one point I was an absolute nervous wreck, and was even too scared to post here until around March or even later.

I still pass for the school aged one. Under sixteens. Even though I'm sixteen; for some reason my (and my friend's) U16 oyster cards don't expire until September.

London buses are still free for me. Or, they would be if I hadn't lost my card.

That is why it isn't petty.

Took paracetamol, had a shower, walked the dog and lazed around in bed.
