I meant I can't get away from seeing it all over youtube, stuff about Pride Month (icky! Does it have to be the month my birthday is in? Don't let Racheypie see this, for the love of all things holy!

) and the shooting in manchester. When something bad happens, it makes me feel dizzy and I can't distract myself no matter what I try.
And nope. It's mandataory to watch documentaries according to my mom.
Well, as far as Racheypie not seeing this , i am afraid i cant help or give advice on that one considering it is a public forum!
Yes, the media unfortunately shows many things that are not of a positive nature. unfortunately human beings are drawn to such negativities. If positivity sold newspapers then i am sure we would see more positive things but unfortunately it is the opposite...
It can be hard to switch off from such things however you have the choice to be absorbed like many or the choice to switch youtube channel to something you like... Kind of what i do... But at times, yes it can be very hard and one gets absorbed in and feels the effects sometime after...
As far as being forced to watch docos with family.. I am afraid that is something most of us had to endure... I just went into my own dreamworld when such things that didnt interest me were shown... Unfortunately these are the things being a minor that we all have had to experience one way or another... It is impart , the give and take of life.. One sometimes must experience and deal with things that one may not like... In a way it can be good, as it teaches patience which in itself is never an easy thing to master... but also impart a vital social construct. However i can also understand why at the moment it will not be that much fun but as i have mentioned in only a few years you will be able to make your own decisions to watch whatever you like.
