Ah, Muppet Treasure Island! That was fun. I watched it when I was little, and still remember it.

I have seen many of the Muppet movies, but I've never seen Muppet Treasure Island. :o

I've heard of Muppet Christmas Carol though!

I watch everything muppet related.

My father was half-muppet and I like to think I carry a degree of muppet blood with myself.

Kermit was my first love.

I'm just wondering... can you be friends with someone you have nothing in common with?

I mean come on, yes, obviously you can befriend someone who you don't have anything in common with... but can you be good friends with them, or have a lot of conversation with them, if you don't have any interests in common? :(

^ Yes, but I don't believe two people could have absolutely nothing in common, especially over the course of a friendship. If you befriend them, you already have friendship in common, and wherever/however you met.

One of my best friends was a Tory w*ker, pro fox hunting, pro hikes in student fees (as a student?!?!), work experience at parliament with our MP, member of young conservatives, etc. etc.
What we had in common was that we liked arguing with each other. Academic arguments mind you. He was excellent fun, even if every fibre of his beliefs was in opposition to my own.

There's always something :D

Just today I was thinking of how nice it would be to have someone to walk with in the park.

I guess old loneliness dies hardly at all?

In my early twenties I lived a couple of years above a bar/disco. The bar was on the first floor and my apartment was on the third. So every Friday and Saturday evening and night they played music. That was ok for me, because it was predictable and I didn't have to get up the day after. One night though I think someone stumbled over the volume or something. I abruptly awoke to "MAMBO NR 5!! !! ! 8O

I'm going to try to allow love into my life, instead of chasing it.

So you're saying this is no longer your philosophy?

Walks in the park with your lover sounds wonderful.

Don't berate yourself for such beautiful thoughts Kura.

Get back on that horse.

No, not under it...OMG Kura, WTF are you doing to that horse????

Ohhhh, I know that song! I think I've seen that before in one of those weird meme videos on Youtube. It's from a game called Danganronpa.
