^I can't think of anything else then what I described. I just found the place where you can search for errors, but it couldn't identify the problem. I don't think it found anything wrong.

Yes, It's windows 10.

It can repair, if you connect to windows update it should replace anything missing.

If you messed up your Graphics drivers then it just a case of getting the latest.

Yes, I do get updates automatically, I will have a look at it though. Also I remember in windows 8 there was this function where you could search for errors and then the computer would fix it selves. I haven't found this in windows 10.

Well when I open Netflix it takes a looong time before I can click on anything, and it signals that it's working or thinking. Also twice lately the computer has just suddenly turned it self off, and restarted. That seems more serious to me. I just though it would be much quicker. Since it's just a couple of months old.

*disclaimer* I still use win7.
My parents both have win 10 and I have to constantly sort their machines.
I just run the update and have it check everything, repairs anything they have wrecked.
Uninstall netflix and then restart pc, download latest build of netflix and install.

Do you have a windows 10 cd?

Thank you for the tips! No I don't have a windows 10 cd. I don't even have a cd rom. That tip about Netflix there I should definitely check out. This computer had Netflix installed as an app. But it didn't work right away, so I deleted it (

) and just did what I did on the old computer. I access Netflix via the browser. Just open it up in firefox.

Could be a clogged graphics card, sounds synonymous with an overheating gpu or possibly cpu... I make most of my income from using a vacuum cleaner! make sure vents to computer tower are not obstructed and maybe have a look inside to make sure cpu fan and or graphics card if not integrated is not also obstructed

The instant shut downs sounds like what would happen with an overheated cpu.. Is your computer quit old? if no dust in fans or vents might need to redo thermal paste on cpu.. Most bios are set with a max temp threshold on cpu and once it reaches max temp will automatically shut down to save overheating... Just another thought

(it's a laptop by the way) With my old computer I tried vacuuming it. Just stick that thingy close to where the hot air blows out.

Try installing the netflix app and using it.
Also, try chrome browser and see if that makes a difference.

Computers crash, it happens, hopefully nothing major.

When using laptop, do you use it in bed and rest it on your duvet? as bottom vents need to be clear at all times to circulate the air, if not what Q has mentioned then likely an overheating issue...
