I slept 12 hours. Got out of bed, ate two slices of bread. Apparently I wasn't fully rested, so went back to bed and slept 12 more. That has got to be some kind of a record. Something tells me I will not be getting any sleep tonight.

When I sleep long enough at some point I start getting more tired again, which makes it even harder to get out of bed. Also having lived in a dream world for 24 hours doesn't exactly help, my real life can't compete. At some point we where making homemade sausages on top of a hill.

If the weather forecast comes true there is good wind conditions for fishing this evening. So I think I'm heading out.

On Tuesday I checked my secret mushroom spot, but as I suspected it was too dry. There where some small chanterelle there, but they where drying out.

Had a funny comment today.

Someone was complaining that their chair was uncomfortable and it was making their back hurt.
I said I thought the chairs weren't too bad.
And they replied, "Yes, but you have the posture of a god!"

What??

I've had many comments on my posture, actually.
It must look out of the ordinary.
People have called it "perfect".
Didn't know it was God-like though.

I think you mentioned you took on physical labor jobs, so that may be why you have gotten good posture.

The Ballad of Tam Lin is pretty rad, if you're familiar.
Anything with selkies is interesting from a gender studies perspective.

I'm trying to remember one that freaked me out as a child, a brother and sister were cursed by the druids, he being transfigured into a greyhound with the power of human speech, she being turned green. The name escapes me.

(+ ^) Have you seen this? It's a very pretty film, bittersweet bits and everything.
I think it might be your cup of tea.

^^Yes, Tam Lin! That's one of my favourites, too, and I've always been fascinated by Selkies. The tale of Finn McCool and his fairy wife is one that I also find intriguing.
I can't remember the name of it either, but it sounds familiar.

Oh, Song of the Sea...I think my mum watched that, but I was busy doing something else.
