^^Oh, not much. I'm working on my story for online writing camp, listening to anime/video game soundtracks, and so forth. Boo really likes her window perches. 8)

I want to get one of those Jack Daniels Weber smokers:

I love smoking meat with hickory chips.

But the weber is expensive.

You're making me hungry and I've already had 5 slices of toast and veg checking out the settings on my new toaster.

^ you can make you own with a twenty litre drum, 8 gauge fencing wire, chicken wire and a hessian bag.
I made one, it's very easy.
I smoke fish or chicken in it.

I put a shelf in on the window ledge here so Boo could sit there in the sun in the mornings. He loves it.

The funny thing is that Boo doesn't meow a lot, only when we interact with her or she's trying to get our attention.

supposedlly, cats don't meow to each other. that's a communication method they reserve for humans.

Boo never meowed for the first year of his life. I thought there was something wrong with him... And then, one day, he started meowing and I didn't even notice for a while and then it occured to me, "He can meow!".

Apparently, kittens don't meow until they're around 6 months to a year old, or so I've heard.

Now, I can't shut him up. He wakes me up at 2-3AM meowing because he gets lonely and wants to wake me up just to keep him company... so I find myself playing hide and seek with him around the house at like 3AM in the morning... on workdays as well. I'm so tired!

Here, I took photos.
Doesn't look much but it works.

I got the drum from a fish and chip shop.
You have to soak the hessian bag in water and wring it out before you use it.
You put the sawdust in the bottom.
There's bolts to hold the rack off the bottom of the drum.
Then you put it over a fire or gas burner.
The only think I'm not sure on is the galvanising on the chicken wire.
Probably gives you cancer.
Meh.
I'd use stainless mesh or something if I did it again.
