Haha, but if they don't know it is you, you could probably find some way to annoy them without them knowing, and then laugh evilly. 
That's usually what I do to my sisters when I am helpless above the "law of the family"...otherwise known as the unfair family rules.

"Recompense to no man evil for evil" is a very difficult thing to live up to, but it's far more satisfying to do good than to do evil. That is why I have always tried to be reasonable and polite to those people, even when they are rude and unreasonable towards me for no justifiable reason.
Haha, I am a christian too (mormon). I don't want to give mormons a bad name, so lets just say that I might be impulsive in such a situation but luckily my family is here if I get too crazy. (not that I would.
). I know, we live a higher law than eye for an eye...but sometimes I wish that we lived that law. That is very big of you, grats. I am working on such a character development.....as you can see.

i've never had neighbours complain at 3am.
although once in a flat above me the people were using pogo-sticks, that was weird...and loud.
