I was confused what you meant by Western at first.
I thought you were talking about direction.

LOL. Direction from where?

I used to want to live in Germany or Scandinavia but now I am glad I don't, what with everything going on there.

Didn't know if you were talking about geographical direction or ethnicity.

Hi from Montreal! I hate winter, but it's better than some problems some more southern places have... how is New Zealand to live in?

Right now, blooming cold... Many homes here dont have central heating like most other developed countries, probably why we have such a good rugby team, we are bred rough, ha... Lovely spot though minus the people! Actually kiwis are pretty cool just some small towns like mine attract not so nice individuals... Suppose you gotta take the rough with the smooth!

But yeah, good fishing, very quit areas, natural thermal springs that one can sit in beneath the stars and warm up while watching the trout jump metres in front of you, extremely scenic... Pretty safe place to be in the world generally speaking.. Petty theft is high here and had a few beatings over the years from some individuals that cant handle their liquor...
But yeah, nice even though i am looking for a change and a move soon.

Do you play rugby, Biggles? What other kinds of people are in the small towns? Wow, tell me about the beatings. I've never actually been beaten up before.

@Raleigh: Goodnight! :)

I used to play Rugby before a neck injury. Played professionally and club. Short listed for England under 21's and played for Devon.

As for the beatings... erm... well one was on my birthday..I had lost my wallet and retraced my steps back to the bank, saw a group of people and asked if they had seen a wallet lying around, they thought i was accusing them of nicking a wallet, so tried to walk away and got jumped from behind and beaten pretty badly by a group of them.. Face was stomped on and two teeth pushed back...

Another time, came out of a gig and saw someone i knew.. Smiled and said ''hi, hows it going?'' and he punched me a few times... He wasn't and still isn't a well fella!

There are many more going back to childhood, but think you get the jist

As for the town, it is kind of known as a healing place... So get some people that come here, cause crap, gaslight and then leave.. There are a few messed up people, unfortunately most of these idiots call themselves spiritualists, teach yoga and have become life coaches! The irony!

I know... life is so full of irony... my life too.

I think maybe those guys DID nick your wallet.

Most I've been hit is a slap by my parents or a punch in the arm from a school enemy. Once in the psych ward I got swatted accidentally by someone aiming for a staff member's head.

You have had a lucky escape. Not that it takes away from any form of abuse you have endured.. But yeah, been punched more times than i can count... Alot on the rugby field, however in those circumstances i cant help but laugh, haha... Seems to wind them up more.. I think they just got frustrated because i actually used to be a good player and would often outpace and outsmart them, so they were looking for ways to either take me out or do something where i would react in a way that would get me sent off... Never got sent off nor did i ever receive any warning for the decades i played, which is rather quit rare considering the type of game it is...
As for on the street, well, unfortunately there are always going to be idiots and i seem to have one of those faces that attract such vermin...
I dont like getting aggressive so seem to tend to avoid, only twice did i have to get physical with people and both times they admittedly regretted it.. Think it has something to do with the warrior gene many auties apparently have! ha... if in that state it needs half a dozen people at least to drag me off them.. Nothing i am proud of but both times i had no other option other than to defend myself and the second time was defending a girlfriend from attack at the time...

Go Biggles! I can apparently pack a wallop too but once when I really needed to I couldn't... my fist barely made contact with the face at all... it was at school... I was laughed at for a year because of that, maybe more... it was after someone (an enemy) asked if I was autistic... they kept pressing... I kept avoiding the question or saying things like "No, what's that?" but they didn't believe I wasn't autistic...

I tend to get bored and restless. I've just gotten out of bed after god knows how many hours of sleep. Had breakfast, showered and now what..... :( I don't feel like doing the things that has given me pleasure before. That sounds like depression. I'm on antidepressant so don't really get very depressed, just restless.

Sorry that was suprisengly negative comming from me these days..

I'll come back another time.
