That's a pretty good deal. Even if you sell em at half the retail rate, you'd still come out ahead.

I have a thing for netting huge deals on Amazon with their automated system; if something does not sell in a while, it gets marked down until it does... I will watch those items and jump on them. For example, just now I had a 44 pound bucket of detergent delivered for $36. USPS just dropped it off and you know very well it cost them more then that to ship it.

My best deal and flip was a Lexmark CX510DTHE for $340, normally list for $2,200-2,3000. I sold it for $1,500
That's a huge profit. Good job :) Let me know if you ever get a deal on knives/blades or other weapons cuz I'm a collector.

Last night I bought a discography on bandcamp. I thought about buying his stuff before but never got around to it & he was donating all the proceeds to help with the hurricane relief till the end of the year. I waited till the last couple hours to buy. I was going to buy after a new statement period started on my creditcard around the 20th of December but I kept forgetting & remembering when I was doing other things.

New front tyres for my car (even through the old ones had just over 1mm of tread left before becoming illegal), never understood why some people let them go almost completely bald before changing them.

True, although my cars been the one thing I don't try and cut corners with, can't put a price on safety.

Then they should not own the car and buy a bus pass instead. More so if they can't afford to keep a car safe on the road...

I just ordered a new fancy trigger for one my AR's and 10 standard capacity (30 round) mags.

There's LOTS of places that don't have public transportation like the area where I grew up in & the one my girlfriend grew up in. It's extremely hard to get anywhere when you cant drive & have to ride in a car/truck/van/SUV ect for more than 20 minutes to get to all the major stores.

6 meds for me(my meds cost $1.25 each now instead of $1.20 like they did the last couple years maybe because Social Security had a 2% COLA increase), a med for my girlfriend, Sudafed for both of us, Cadbury eggs that were on sale so I got cream & caramel 1s for both of us, & bread for me.

Move closer to town and buy a bicycle... This would also save us taxpayers on healthcare...

Me & my girlfriend live in a city with public transportation nowadays but I didn't till I moved in with her. We don't bike but we do walk a bit sometimes. I should go walking more for the sake of walking but don't really feel like it when the temp is abit or more below freezing. I didn't have the option to move out when I lived with my parents cuz my income wasn't high enough due to being on SSI(SSDI now thou) & I also couldn't handle living on my own if I had the money. I didn't qualify for services or help cuz I would of had to have already been living on my own or have certain diagnoses or be a more extreme case with the issues I did have. Louisiana has been cutting back on programs since the recession started & they think of people needing help as being lazy leaches sucking on the teat of the hardworking American taxpayer.

IOW let them eat cake. as though Seattle were anywhere near affordable for working class types.
