Could be depersonalization, though.

It's a known side effect of some SSRI's apparently, though rare.

Was taking risperidone for a few days, but it gave other side effects I didn't like (carbohydrate craving, excessive fatigue, etc.) so I switched back to my other medicine. I wonder.

Yeah. It's worth thinking about.

And lo, he has.

Evening campers! :bounce:

Dear oh dear. At work a rather strange woman in accounts said to me "Would you like some cake?" (word had filtered through about my birthday) and I immediately thought "Why would I need any food - it's only 10:00 and I'm not hungry yet" so I just blurted out "No thanks, I'm not hungry".
Then I flustered my way through an unconvincing "yes please" instead but I do wish I hadn't bothered, because she gave me a stale scone. 8O

Some part of her family runs a bakery and she often brings in cakes for the office staff and although they're not "brand new" fresh, they're usually stuff from the day before and generally quite edible.
Except this horrible dead thing I was given. I think this large pellet of some granite-like substance must have been a days old, not merely hours old - it was more like a bloated biscuit, and I only knew it was a scone because of the currants. Or maybe they were dead flies.
So I nibbled a bit of it and hastily exited, then chucked it in the rubbish skip. The damn thing hit the side of it with a clang, and then I couldn't stop sniggering because the noise was so stupid and so fitting.

Yes indeed; back home, on WP and feeling whole again.
I wonder if I would have made it if I'd actually eaten that thing? Gah.

Thankee m'dear!
Yeah well, I thought that as I wouldn't survive a party I might as well give my avatar one. That's what they're for, right?

Can the cones attend the party - they might pop the balloons.

Oh yes - cones are always welcome. This is a "Cone Friendly" zone.
I have a couple of cone pictures I'll be posting a little later: some battle-worn guard cones, on duty, and an apparently important senior cone - he must be important because he has a name tag.

That will be very interesting!
But hey, I don't want to steer away the conversation, it's your birthday and everyone needs to celebrate :)

I saw a couple which must have been nesting - they were snuggled in a bunch of grass by the roadside but I didn't want to get too close in case I disturbed their young.
(actually it was on a blind corner and I would have probably got run over)
