Never tried it, aside from toys and stuff from Amazon.
Do they normally deliver exactly what was ordered?

Pretty good actually. You can save your favourites, if you order the same stuff all the time. And you can say whether or not you want a substitute if they haven't got it in. I rarely have any problems with them. And it is sooo much less stressful than actual shopping.

I've heard that if they're out of stock of a certain item they give you the next best thing. At least some supermarket online delivery services do that, or they did. So you could end up paying for something you didn't want..

Edit: Didn't see Henbanes post. ^^

You can send things back if you don't like what they substitute. Sometimes it's fine but other times they seem to have run out of many things!

Yes, they always give me a list before they start delivering, with any substitutions or short dates at the top which I can turn away if I don't want.
It's a lifesaver for the terminal hermit.

It's nice to know that you have such a service at your disposal but being a hermit definitely isn't a good thing I don't think. :| I find even trips to the supermarket are a nice way to get out when I'm low on other options for interacting. But that's just me. :|

I just got a Kindle from Amazon... the reading is pretty different; I don't know if I can say it's better or worse than real books.
