I hate people. I like talking to my family, and I'd like to have a girlfriend to talk to, but I don't want to talk to people in general, I want to be left alone.

If the internet blew up I would throw a party.

I like re-colouring FF sprites.

I would be so happy if all technology ended, and I could go serve in a monastary. Or as a piss boy.

I'm good at making people feel better.

Right now, I feel like crap. I have a cold...

I always have a pocket knife in the left pocket of my leather jacket.

Went on a short trip to West Yorkshire yesterday. Anyway, on the way back from where we'd been we fancied something to eat so we stopped off at the Ram Inn pub in Cliviger, close to the Lancashire/West Yorkshire border.

Anyway, we went in and my mum exclaimed that she was starving. Mum ordered a drink and I ordered mine (a pint of Thwaites' Lancaster Bomber - not a bad ale, actually) and I was met with a rude barmaid who demanded photo ID. I looked through my wallet but I don't carry that sort of stuff around with me. In all my time in various pubs and buying alcohol in Lancashire and beyond I have only ever been asked twice - I'm a big strapping lad of 6'2", look about 25 and have polite manners and don't order fizzy lager and in all that time I've never been asked for ID except for one time when I was in the Isle of Man last year when I wanted to go into a casino. When that happened I promptly turned on my heel and started walking.

Anyway, I said I didn't have photo ID but I had my Access card (which you have to be 18 to have) but she barked back that it wasn't good enough. She then asked why I had no driving licence but as I have partial sight I don't carry it. Anyway I ordered a orange cordial and water (I had to ask for it to be topped up!), quickly drank it and basically told her to forget about the meal. I then left. I hope the power trip was worth the £25 or so we would have spent on a nice meal! My rationale is this: if they don't trust me enough to serve me why should I give them my money?

We were both still hungry so we decided to try the Calf's Head in Worston (a favourite haunt of mine, it must be said) on the way back to see if they were still serving food. As it happens they don't start serving food until about ninety minutes later but the lady at the bar there was much more helpful and approachable. They also had about five handpumps bearing some nice Jennings beers if I remember rightly.

Anyway, we decided to call it a day and go home. It was a nice day out though, passing through and looking at a few villages on the way home.

if i lost the internet or my computer in general, i'm actually not sure how to even come across describing a tragety of that size.
if all technology is lost then i will be lost from this world.

anyway morbid stuff aside.
i had a cool xenosaga like dream last night.

I made a sprite of Faris look like me.

I get immensely frustrated and in the end, despondent about learning because everything I watch brings about this yearning to know and understand everything... I watched 'Apollo 13' the other night, and found myself wanting to know everything about the space shuttle, life inside a space shuttle, that specific mission...but my technological understanding is very limited... no matter how hard I try, unless something is visual, I simply do not generally understand it. Reading chemistry books did nothing for me...doing the experiments in the labs did. Reading physics books did nothing for me, doing the experiments inspired and intrigued me. Every film I watch, every book I possess, every person I see with a scientific interest and a scientific understanding reminds me of my failure to learn everything there is to learn and to understand all there is to understand.

I like looking at stupid cat pictures.

I am currently reading The Dark Tower, a series of novels by Stephen King. I just finished book 3: The Waste Lands.
