European and Scandinavian Tree-murdering traditions require axes.
ScandinavianViking BattleAxes are expected to intimidate people into just leaving the area and signing over their real estate holdings and laptops and MP3 players to avoid any potential beheadings.
Vikings were tattooed and painted their teeth red.
Their battle helmets did NOT have horns!
The horned helmets were only worn for rituals.
There was an unfortunate tradition of slavery and human sacrifice in the Viking culture.

Well, this IS the Philosoraptor Thread, and Philosoraptors tend to be creaky old Greybeards, so one would assume that this thread, like the old fellows it is named for, needs a lot of naps.
