My parents were self employed and although financially it had its rewards in my opinion the extra stress and work outweighed that benefit. So No, I have not considered it.

Have you quit anything?

Yes, I quit my job as self-employed comics artist and started being a self-employed apple farmer instead! :)

Do you play any instruments?

I used to - guitar, bass, drums, synthesizers. These days I mostly write non-fiction.

Have you ever walked out on a movie?

From people at work...

Them: That earthquake was terrible!
Me: What earthquake?

What change would you most like to see happen in your lifetime?

I think there are a lot of undiagnosed aspies in schools who are simply tortured by the bullies, lights, sounds, incorrect teaching style, noisy hallways, unsympathetic administration, etc that exist. It'd be nice if these kids were separated from the noisy bunch and educated in a different school. I sure would have wanted that when I was a kid.

Ear buds or headphones?

Either, but I seem to be more into headphones atm.

Where would you like to live once you retire?

The country, in a nice little house with books and a cat. I talk about my dream home so much I'm starting to sound like a parrot...

I'd probably like to retire to rural New Zealand, somewhere along the coast near my old hometown.
As for warmed or chilled, the weather's getting really warm here and it's not even summer yet, so for the next few months I'm going to prefer "chilled".

Have you had to deal with family problems recently?

I guess my biggest fear might be solitary confinement.

Besides something happening to my children it would be Never being able to be alone.

What helps you sleep?

Sometimes when I'm having trouble sleeping, just watching online TV while in bed helps me just to get that little bit more tired. Usually works for me.

I have an odd trick that works every time for me. I trick my mind into thinking that I'm rolling over and over in my bed when I'm actually staying still.
