I thought of another thing I used to do as a child that might be perceived as odd. I used to like to go underneath my pool (billiards) table and turn the lights off, but let a little light in by leaving a crack in the door leading to the living room. I liked to stay under there, and it was like I was in a boat navigating the seas under a starlit sky.

edit: lol nevermind.;;; I just asked my friend and she said she did that too. Damn, it's hard to know what's weird.

:P it's still weird. verrrryyy weird.

hmm, this is hard.
when i was very small, i only slept on my back, because i was deathly afraid of getting probed (i think..i watched too much sci-fi?)
i spent almost every waking minute pretending i was a dinosaur....
i used to make like, these booklets, and draw a diagram of a made up type of dinosaur, and label the body parts, and list the characteristics and where it lives...
i loved impersonating animals. i still do :P. it's funny seeing people's faces when you start making chicken noises in the locker room!

I couldn't walk normally. I walked and ran up on my toes and kids would laugh, point, whisper to each other and make fun of me for it at school.

Meadow, that be nothing to torment yourself over for, I too did the same and along with yourself was too mocked for it as well..  In fact, most children and some adults in my current timeline have often made mocking gestures in regards to my physical form :x often, I have long arms, long legs,spider-like fingers but, below normal muscle tone whereby, I'd be called stick by or walking, talking praying mantis...Anyways, my thoughts on this is, your still human and I'm glad that your here on WP somewhat away from cruel people.. :)

That laying in the snow thing sounds fun! XD; I don't think the snow falls fast enough around here though..

I used to pretend I was a dog too!! ! For like a year I was a dog. Once I asked my mom if I could get a tail transplant. She was starting to get really weirded out by it I think. D: D: D:

TREE HUGGERS, omg. Someone explained to me what they really were, but I still thought their primary job was to hug trees..

The snow is fun. The feel of it, the silence of it. It is relaxing.I did not get to do that last year as we did not have many good snows, hopefully this year will be more accommodating.

Heh. A tail transplant. That would have been great. I settled for sewing up old materials and pinning them to the back of my pants.

I still think their primary job should be to hug trees. I find that beautiful and funny on so many levels.

I am in agreement with ProfessorX, no need to torture yourself over that. I did the toe walking thing, the no arm swinging thing as well. My mom would yell at me for my toe walking and tell me to go on flat feet...the kids at school got me more for the arm thing. I had one friend try to teach me how to swing my arms, but she got mad at me when I tried because she thought I was mocking her. I still do not have the arm swinging down. It just feels weird, perhaps because my arms are long for my size. I do not know. I still walk on my toes as well. I like it up here. Heh. Besides, it gives you good calf muscles. :)

Hi, thanks, I'm not sure why you think I'm torturing myself about it though. That was a long time ago. I don't look like a praying mantis or an ape or anything like that, just a normal person, on the outside anyway. They used to push me down on the top of my head but I would spring back up. I finally taught myself to walk flat footed when I was eight but it was really painful and took some doing. I couldn't take the bullying and ridicule anymore but no, not torturing myself over it by any means. The problems are actually much more difficult than that. I'm glad to be here among people who understand. Thanks :)

I was eight years old and had been walking like that from the beginning. Because of this I guess my calves weren't long enough to handle walking flat-footed. It was not only painful but it felt like I was falling backward when I would try to. It took quite some time before I mastered it. I hope this satisfies your curiosity.

I used to spread Elmer's Glue on my palm and let it dry and then tried to pull it off in one sheet. It picks up your palm print btw.

I used to eat paper and Play Doh

I used to bite my toenails
