While not an infatuation, it's a little bit of an obsession/fascination. And I know this person in real life. No, I did not meet them off of WP. That's all you need to know, folks.

I wouldn't say "infatuated" really, it's more of a general "OMG girls on the Internets!" ¬_¬

Sometimes it just can't be helped, I guess, no matter how mature we think we are.

There's been a few posters that I've found intruiging in the past. I'm not on here as much these days, due to my lack of internetz, so I can't really be infatuated with anyone...

I was at one point borderline infatuated with somebody from another forum. Funnily enough, when I first started coming on here I thought he was on here too. I kept coming across a certain poster who wrote like him, had the same interests, and so on. Didn't turn out to be the same person though.

No, I've never had any desire to release any unreleased urges on other members on this website. It's apparent that some have, how interesting.

So, I voted no, rather obviously.

I totally took the clue, and I'm hoping I'll get some hot chicks and cool dudes hitting on me with my new beautiful avatar (it's my best angle).

The OP should change the topic title to "Are you infatuated with Daniel on WP?". We'd totally get more replies

For me, infatuation has less to do with personality and more with appearance...for example, in my tween years I was infatuated with Keanu Reeves. Not because of his acting or because I thought his interviews showed an interesting person. I just thought he was pretty and had a huge crush on him. (I'm not usually one to get infatuated with actors, though).

I form real relationships -- the kind that last past infatuation -- based on personality. I met my husband in a MMORPG and had no idea what he looked like for ages. When he did send me a photo, I didn't think he was that attractive! He was interesting, smart, funny, and warm; those were the initial qualities I liked. (And when we met, he looked a lot better than he did in the picture he'd sent.)

There are a lot of people I find interesting here, who's posts I like to read for a variety of reasons. No infatuation though. I'm not surpised, though...the only person I am attracted to is my husband. It's been that way for a long time now! (I know that's unusual, but that's how I am.)
