When I was 19, I had the internet set up on my computer for the first time (before I had to only use public computers for internet use). So having internet on my own computer was wonderful. And a few months later I found myself googling autism. I found a forum where you don't have to register to post, and, for the first time in my life, I publicly (but anonymously) wrote down my feelings about having Asperger's. But one day this forum just disappeared and I couldn't find it again, so I googled more about autism, until one of the pages from Wrong Planet came up. It was a subject that I really wanted to express my thoughts on, so I went to post, only to be asked to register first. In such haste I quickly signed up, using the first nickname that popped into my head, which happened to be Joe90, just to post this one post.
I don't remember how, but I began using Wrong Planet as a regular thing, and so now here I am, 12,000+ posts later.
