Do I "believe" in an established scientific model that explains observations and makes predictions through mechanisms such as natural selection? You bet I do.

I have no problem accepting evolution because it seems logical to me.

Scientests have been observing evolution throughout the years. It's a fact, it's there.

Since the vast, vast majority of scientific evidence suggests that such a belief has been conclusively refuted, I'd say that yes, you do need to go into details.

No, I don't see humans being any more unique than other animals are. The platypus seems much more unique than the human, lol. We're no more different from other animals than other animals are from eachother, really Honestly, i think we should be classified as apes... Because i don't think the little things like less hair, slightly better problem-solving skills, and no toe-thumbs are enough to separate us. There are actually some mental things chimps are better at than humans, such as short-term memory. Most humans are so conceited that they think their species is more than "just" an animal... So i guess this probably prevents a lot of them from thinking about themselves in a realistic way.

Anyway, here's me bringing my special interest into the topic! Has anyone else handled Boas or Pythons and noticed something interesting on each side of their vent? SPURS! The evolutionary remnants of hind-legs from when they evolved from lizards! They are like tiny claws. They are bigger in the males, but both sexes have them. Nowadays they are only used during sexual activity by the males. Snakes that are more highly evolved, such as colubrids, don't have them. This is one of those things that makes it pretty obvious that organisms evolve from other organisms. Also, just the existance of Glass Lizards(lizards without legs... they have ear openings and eyelids so they are lizards and not snakes, but they look like snakes) strongly suggests evolution.

Evolution is real. Gravity on the other hand is simply God's Glue.

If humans came from Africa, why are there still Africans?

Evolution as a process and evolution as a natural history are not really one and the same in the sense of "debate."
I don't have to "believe" in any such process, it's observable in industry, in research, etc. Places that engineer what is used for vaccines (not always for vaccines, mind you) work directly from evolution theory on a cell/micro level.

Evolution as a natural history, I find to be a great idea and an exciting concept, and I'm christian, even. The two are not exactly mutually exclusive in this day and age of religious freedom of interpretation. That being said, I don't have to BELIEVE in evolution as a history either. I think it a likely cause, but more than that I think it's not terribly relevant to draw such a conclusion in science. People want to use it to "prove" certain philosophies, but ultimately forcible logic never worked on changing people's beliefs anyway. The (vast) majority of people believe in such things because they WANT to, because it comforts them, justifies them, or some such selfish reason, a notion I also disagree with.

So, to me, the concept of arguing over the historical aspect of evolution is unnecessarily divisive. The evidence is heavy, but there are always those who will (and have right to) interpret things differently. And I have minute to no reason to believe any of the major extremist proponents on either side have proper, truth for the sake of truth, motivation.

It either is or it isn't.

I have no interest in why I'm here, other than that I know the basics of how I'm here; that's enough for me. My mind prefers its interest.

And do evolutionists believe that Africans are closer to being apes? (this is a serious question)

And do we now need to draft a Universal Declaration of Ape Rights in the UN?
