A chap in the village we stayed in near Borlange maintained and restored old vintage cars and bikes. This was one of his projects. Anythin that he couldn't fix he fabricated in his workshop from scratch. It's fully functioning now, it originally was just an empty shell with a severly rusted engine

Nice photos. Makes me want to get back into photography again. Unfortunately, most things worth taking pictures of around here are buried under a couple feet of snow right now, and the light's really flat and uninteresting, except on clear days, and we don't get those very often during the winter (which lasts until mid-April and often later, usually).

Call me intolerant if you like but one of my happiest moments last year was watching banners like this march by to the familiar bang-whistle-bang of the flute and drum. And afterwards getting slowly pissed with Orangemen who would only let me take their picture if they were certain I weren't PSNI:

…and, no, I don't entirely trust the police either these days.

Some nice textures in the late afternoon sun on the Abbey Gatehouse at St. Albans Abbey.
The gatehouse was built in the 14th century using tiles and flint scavenged from the nearby ruins of the Roman town of Verulamium.

^^ Greetings PatrickNeville. I believe that I enjoying using a little website named www.photobucket.com and then posting the happy link for my photograph within a message.

^^ Greetings everyone. I am very sorry as I am not very skilled at capturing photographs. I believe that I have posted a little photograph of a sunset below.
