Many of us do remember when Madeline McCann vanished without a trace in 2007 and how even to this day, people still believe her parents were in on it.

Poor little girl.

Bump! Anyone else?

In my country there was the case of that mysterious disappearance of a woman named Jowita Zielińska - she went missing two years ago and several days ago, they found her earthly remains buried in the woods near her home :( Well, at least her family knows what's happened. But there are some suspitions that she could be held captive by some perv for those years, as the clothes the body was wearing, weren't the clothes she was wearing when she went missing.

And 15 years ago, there was this very young girl Iza Strzałkowska - she was just 13 (even if she looked like she was well into her teens, an adult girl, and she was really strikingly attractive). She got strangled to death and the sperm of the man who did it to her, got found on her stomach. And again - just several days ago, the culprit was, imagine that, FOUND :D

Btw, I knew this case too (though not personally per se) - my deceased aunt was from the same village as Mrs. Pawlica: https://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMyst ... ody_stain/

I always found the Japanese urban legend about the "Vanished Village" where an entire population was massacered by a crazed individual who then commited suicide pretty interesting, because it has inspired many of my favorite Japanese horror video games like Siren and Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly.

According to the legend after the entire village was slaughtered the village eventually disappeared off the maps as it became completely abandoned, but if you go too far into the wilderness and get lost they say you will be led to this cursed place where you will be spirited away and can never return back to the real world. The village has dried bloodstains everywhere too which i imagine would add to the scariness.

It will be eight years this June since a boy from Oregon named Kyron Horman vanished without a trace.

It's been 16 years and still no trace of him.

IMO, it'd be a miracle if the boy appeared out of nowhere and talked about
everything about what happened to him.

In Poland we have this very, very famous fase of the disappearance of Iwona Wieczorek - the teenager went missing in the summer 2010 and there is still no trace of her. Her mother is even suspected by some of having something to do with her disappearance. 8O That's because she isn't emotional in the interviews and she said she... has - yes - FORGIVEN the culprit 8O (Some poeople claim it was her distant cousin with whom she was in a relationship).
