I have a weird one... Since I was about 2 years old, I was scared of vent fans (like the ones in bathrooms and kitchens). No idea why. I never got my finger in one, or anything... I would panic and run out of a room if I discovered there was a vent fan in there. I still feel the weird feeling at age 44 when I see one, but as a landlord and electrician among other things, I deal with vent fans all the time, and I cannot for the life of me, figure out the rationale behind the former phobia and now funny feeling.

And I'm not afraid of stuff that most people SHOULD be; poisonous spiders, snakes, alleys in bad neighborhoods, etc.

I do like balloons actually. The popping noise hurts, but as long as I prepare myself for a moment, I can pop them.

I have to hold my ears! My brother hates it too and admited to me he was scared of it too! So was a girl I went to school with! In 8th grade some of the kids were popping balloons and she was freaking out and so was I!
