I always have a delayed reaction. I am not a ninja. :(

um... I laughed! I think I have seen so many of these 'scary jump' videos that I have kind of prepared myself before it has happened! I immediately guessed that when the writing said the snake was dead, that it wasn't. If you spend as much time on Youtube as I do, you learn to spot the fakes!

In real life I wouldn't get that close to a snake that big, even if it appeared dead. Many reptiles can be remarkably motionless and would appear quite dead. Getting this close was just unwise and showed lack of imagination.

C) I too expected the ending, and still nearly had a bl**dy heart attack!

I normally have an overactive startle reflex, but I barely blinked with that video. I'm tired at the moment though. It was also predictable, though I was a little worried there was gonna be an obnoxious scream. I HATE those videos. This wasn't that bad.

...someone ban Swbluto from posting his ridiculous Autism generalizations.

Yeah, obviously I didn't mean "all autistics", ganondox. Generalizations are only partially applicable, though the trend obviously exists.

It's more that you tend to generalize that "all people who do this are autistic" than the other way around.

Had to watch it twice because I missed the point to it the first time. Initially my reaction was (b) but thinking about it in retrospect is creeping me out. I hope I don't get nightmares tonight.

You have no means of gathering any meaningful data on this thread, and the sample size is meaningless anyway - so where does this trend exist?

Really? This seems a pretty unambiguous statement to me:

I was expecting something so I didn't react. But it is a pretty cool video. :)

B) Didn't react. I expected it, though. The video is called "if this doesn't make you jump, nothing willl" so as soon as I read the caption "The world's largest dead snake" I thought It's not really dead, is it. So yeah, I expected it.

I expected the snake to be alive and to attack the camera. I was still startled though.
