36) Instead of heating an entire house try an electric blanket. Even it used for one
season it will pay for itself.

37) Ever year as the weather cools natural gas prices sky rocket. This year do not burn alot of natural gas. Instead use small electric heaters and only try to warm smaller spaces. Dress warmly and see #36

38) Instead of joining a health club that you will never goto get a fast pace training
buddy like a big dog that will keep your fat a$$ at a fat burning pace while walking fido.

39. Steal office supplies from work. If they're not locking them up, then why not? Why should you spend a couple bucks on a some crappy Bics when you're just going to lose them anyway?

Oh I understand how Mr Mark must feel about the dumb things we posted in his
1001 things to cheer you up thread. I am reaping what I sowed. But like him I can
not let my thread die.

42. Steal fruit from people who just stay here over the summer and don't care about their apple trees anyway. 8)

51) If you use a credit card allways pay it off in full at the end of the month. Avoid the
temptation to carry a balance. Do not fall for the low interest for x months scam.
If you fall in the trap of high interest and fees you will end up paying many times what
you barrowed in the beginnig. So those $100 shoes you had to have that cost $1 to
make in China may cost you $200-$300 before its over. Credit Card Companies are not your Friend.

52. Make a car payment, to a savings account, for 1-5 years before you buy a car. Borrow less.

53. Don't borrow at all to buy a car. I bought an 11 year old Volvo in extremely good shape from a relative for about $4000. I didn't have to take a loan. 8)

54. Don't borrow unless, MrMark, you can borrow at a fixed rate over a fixed term for less than the return on a fixed rate, fixed term investment. Even more so if the investment is part of an ISA (Government-promoted savings scheme with tax benefits). There are opportunities like this in the UK at the moment.
