Quetzalcoatl ftw! Since a few things mentioned have been not necessarily historical, I should like to visit many deities, prophets and such..
Dear Sylkat. As far as I know Quetzalcoatl, a fiery lizardy birdy, originated from the Mayan kukulkan. Though I suspect the connection to sacrifice has been misunderstood and further muddied by that awful film..
A story I read states that kukulkan sacrificed himself to give the sun new life.. Though between the Aztecs and Cortez' kin;few traces remain.
Anyways, would have to trace Fudo from India, across China and to his favoured haunts in Nippon.
Jesus too, but not before watching the fall of the Han dynasty trying to meet Guan yu..
And if I could do it all from a Delorean... That'd be supremely cool.

Maybe go to one of Hitler's speeches back in the 1930's. I keep reading that his charisma helped him rise to power, but I would like to see it for myself.

It would also help me out on my project...

My grandmother had the opportunity to hear him speak in 1936, I believe. It's really neat to still have living connections to those historical events.

In relatively recent history, I would like to befriend Nikola Tesla, and follow his work during the early 1890s first-hand. I have read some of his writings and replicated a few of his experiments on a small scale, but I would love to witness the real thing.

In all of history, though, I'd have to get back to you on that. There's too much to consider!

Eh, just as sucky back then as it is now (it's all just people stuff).

Though a big impact event would be pretty cool (O, and seeing the moon get hit with something decent in the past would also be cool when viewing from planet side).

I want to see the statue of David being carved.
I want to see the stormy ocean 100 years ago that inspired'Roll on, thou deep and dark blue ocean, roll!"
I want to see Mudgett's house of horrors.
I want to be at a seance at the Winchester House, where the 'spirits' convinced the widow that thousands of dead people hated her.
I want to see the Easter Island people transporting those enormous sculptures.
