I like cats. I have three cats, but I developed more of a friendship with one of them, probably because I have known him longer.

I notice a lot when a cat is staring at you and you look back it is like you have the feeling you know what it want,s and that it knows you knows what it wants, and that is for you to pet it or play or let it outside.

Cats are good therapy for us.

yeah, you're right about that. many times i thought cats are autistic. and they're so good for us.
i've fed feral cats since i was seven, have seen the cats in my parents' yard move out of the way to let a blind kitten eat. there were about fifteen cats or so, and one took chicken skin with her teeth and brought it to the kitten, who wasnt hers.
my bigger cat always let the smaller cat eat first, and when she was sick, she put her fluffy, white head on his black, silky rear end and slept like this all night. normally, he'd get up during the night and eat, drink, use the litter box. but i found him in the exact spot and position the next morning.
my cats are both dead now and right now i dont have a cat. but i'd love to snatch about seven or so off the street and give them a home. dont have the money right now, though.

God I want a cat so much now :(

I was talking to my dad about wanting one, but also being aware that now likely isn't the best time for me to pick up such an adorable responsibility :(

I then looked up the kind of cat I would like to get... and now I want one more badly than ever. I just wanted to pet and love the cats in the pictures I saw

I want a traditional siamese cat, or a tonkinese :D

I used to have a tonkinese and she was very beautiful and had a siamese chocolate and cream pattern... but when I was 15, my dad got rid of her so we could move into some rich loser house that wouldn't allow us to have her :(

It's kind of something I don't like to think about and is why I'm so unsure of getting an animal :(. I would live in a car to keep a cat over giving a cat away to live in a home... and I do like to live in homes >_>

your dad was very wrong to do what he did and i dont think i could ever forgive my parents if they did this to me. i hate people that say, "oh, it was just a pet. just get another one and that's it." pets cant be replaced. they're family. i've lost my cats and i know how horribly it hurts, and it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. i'd never give up my cats, even though one had genetic diseases and cost me more money than i could afford, and i got a job i hated working long hours and cut down on anything and my clothes were falling apart because i wouldnt buy new ones, didnt buy cakes, didnt get an internet back then, nothing. just to pay for the vet's bills. she lived for ten and a half years and died.
when you have money, you'll be able to have your own place and get a cat. you sound very responsible, because you wouldnt buy a cat, even though you want one so bad. you think about what's best for the cat.
i had this dilemma when i was in my twenties and had horrible financial problems, and i wanted a cat very much, i was all alone in the world and lived far from my family, and didnt have one friend for almost a decade, but the thought of not being able to care for a cat i would buy, not be able to give it what it needs or to feed it, was unbearable, so i didnt buy one till i got a bit more stable financially.
wish you'll get your cat. dont buy from a pet store. pets there often come with genetic diseases. get a cat from a reputable breeder that knows the parents and grandparents of the cat and wouldnt breed a genetically ill animal. speaking from personal experience. ask a vet where to buy a cat from before you do, or get a feral off the street, they're usually healthy, because they dont have inbreeding among them.
best of luck.

As much as I think cats are wicked adorable and cuddly, I'm badly allergic to them. :( But I DO have a bipoar cat at home who I don't like named Sammy (Sampson). He hates kids, attacks people when they stop petting him, and barges into the bathroom to drink from the toilet when we're taking our showers.
