What would your fantasy library be like?

My library would basically be a large room(few to no doors inside of it) with many open spaces, at least 2 floors, and with windows. It would be filled with many books on economics, politics, law, and other semi-related subjects. It would also have a few dark corners in case I desire one. Pretty much it would just be this big place with lots and lots of knowledge.

This library of mine would be full of 60% Fiction, and 40% Non-Fiction of books.

The rest of the library will be full of tonnes of DVDs, and PS2 Games. Ooh, if I imagine it now. So many to choose from. :)

You never know. Maybe the aphrodite part in his username is short for hermaphrodite.

I just want everything that I had before. Now all I have are computer books (lack of transport capability). I gave so many of my favorites to my wife. Wouldn't mind having her back too though.

My dream library would be located in a historic building, dating back many centuries ago. All the original architectural elements and furniture would be in place, although there would also be modern lighting, climate control, and safety measures. The library would be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, closing only on New Year. It would have an extensive selection of books and periodicals, a audio-video room, a computer lab, and study rooms. Cameras in strategic locations would monitor the place for any bullying incidents, and security officers would patrol the library. A cozy, peaceful cafe on the first floor would sell coffee, tea, and simple snacks.

Sounds like my dream library, I would like to live in a place like the Capponi Library
in Florence, Italy. :)

I don't really like reading books, but if a hot naked librarian chick read it to me the stuff in the book would at least stand a chance of making it into my head.

I always liked the library in the Disney movie, "Beauty and the Beast." I think that's my dream library.

Like it is now 100% non-fiction:

Chemistry, biology, physics, math, electronics, computer programing, technology, etc

Though I tend to read mainly online now. Having ADHD I look many things up during the day on wildly varying topics. I get this feeling constantly in real life when any question comes up that I should look it up on the net.
