Yes, but it isn't the heterosexual sex which makes them straight. You can choose whether or not to have sex (obviously) but that doesn't mean you're choosing your sexuality. A gay man could choose to have sex with a woman. That doesn't mean he's choosing to be straight, because he's not. He's still gay. I cannot change my sexuality.
Homosexuality does not mean 'having gay sex,' it means being exclusively or almost exclusively attracted to people of the same sex, whether you act on it or not. Therefore no one (whether gay, straight, bi, anything else) chooses their sexuality, they simply choose whether to act on it or not.

Thats the most bigoted thing you said :) My brother-in-law worked for Notre Dame and was a big fan of the team. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and extremely advance in the IT field.

I do not believe in free will so I completely reject the notion a person has any real choice in anything. Also regardless if one has a choice in sexual orientation it does not change the fact that there is nothing wrong with homosexuality. It does make me mad that so many people use mythological stories to oppress people.

I agree. I don't see why I shouldn't be with someone I want to be with, just because some nutcase Christian says it's wrong.

Ericmc, do you remember the moment you chose to be heterosexual? I don't - I've been attracted to girls for as long as I can remember, and have never felt any man to be attractive sexually. I figure it's got to be something similar for gays - why on Earth would you choose to be a member of a minority that is brutally oppressed everywhere on this planet except for a few cities (mostly in America), one that can still be legally lynched in many nations?

Exactly. I can't see how anyone would choose to be gay.
And even if someone did 'choose' to be gay, they wouldn't actually be choosing to be gay, they'd just be claiming to be gay. No one can actually choose their sexuality.
