I hear the same issue exists with Pho King.

Yes. They have the better fish sandwiches too.

Given a choice, I'd pick Burger King. I don't eat much fast food of any kind, though.

I dont know why or how to explain it, but I always preferred McDonald's better services in generally, although both are almost equally good and there isn't a big difference. To me.

They both are good but will have to say McDonalds. They have the best fries IMO and because of that, it's hard to trump them in my book. Also, the desserts there are great. *Gets pelted by tomatoes by the gross Mccy dees people.*

What do you mean by better services? If you mean like customer service, I found BK was better. The McDonalds closest to where I used to live would hire lazy people with bad attitudes. They would screw around & screw up the order & then give lip when I tried to get it corrected. We started always checking the food before we would leave the drive-through window cuz they screwed it up a lot. I haven't noticed that many problems with other McDonalds thou.

I've very rarely been into either on my own because they're invariably too busy, and the thought of going in makes me anxious. I've been into McDonald's a few times with my stepdaughter and granddaughters. On the basis of a very limited sample I'd opt for McDonald's .

The nearest BK and MacD to me are just over 6 miles away.

I usually don't find either place that busy but I probably go at off times. I used to go to the McDonalds drive through a lot. I worked overnight at WalMart & there was a McDonalds a couple parking lots down that you could just drive through & the McDonalds drive though was open all or most of the night. There were a couple different people I'd go with if they invited me. Our hour lunch breaks usually started around 1 or 2am. There was also a McDonalds in the WalMart when I 1st started. Me & my parents would sometimes get breakfast there Sunday mornings when we'd go shopping after I clocked out. It was usually a little after 8 in the morning when we'd go in. They probably didn't open till about 8 & closed about 12 hours later around the time I'd clock in. There was also a time me & my parents would go to the movies every couple weeks on a certain day cuz we got a good deal & my parents would go to the McDonalds drive though for me on the way home. It was usually around or a bit after 9pm. There used to be a McDonalds in the mall here at the food court. We usually would eat there when we went to the mall. Also the bus that goes to the mall also goes to WalMart after so we'd occasionally stop in the mall on our way to WalMart just to eat at McDonalds. The McDonalds was the most popular place in the food court & was sometimes busy when we'd eat depending on the time. I don't know why they closed a couple years ago. I sometimes eat at one in the Greyhound bus station in Boston on my way to & back from Louisiana but I don't always have time to get food there cuz the bus is sometimes late getting there. Nowadays I almost never get McDonalds otherwise. The other McDonalds around here that we seldom go to is on a bus route we don't go on very often. The BK is also on that route close by & we tend to go to BK more.
I'd occasionally eat at BK when I lived with my parents & we'd go somewhere cuz they liked it more than McDonalds. Me offering to pay for their meals was a way for me to get to eat there. I don't know if I ever been tin the BK drive through thou.

There is a little mom and pop place that does Belgium waffles and fried chicken that I've visited a couple times. :D

I like McDonald's french fries and the small Whopper Jrs, but it has been months since I've been to either. Been going to owner owned restaurants or cooking for myself.
