Attention!

Many of you are wondering if you're playing the Game of Random Associations right. Well, since it's based on the associations you make with a word, there's not really a right or wrong way to play as long as you are following the rules. Although I cannot be absolutely certain many of you are doing this, it seems many of you are not following the directions I gave in the original post: namely, to choose one and only one association from the previous post's three posts to make your three associations from. Each of your three associations should be made directly from this association.

Example: Previous post contained the associations Black Cat, Riptide, and Thunderstorm. Now you make these three associations: Black Cat->Black People, Black Cat->Cat Bowl, and Black Cat->Jack-o'-lantern. The surprising element is that you never know exactly where the next poster will take your associations, and that's why there are three instead of one. This diagram also shows how the next three associations come from the same previous association:

  • Star Wars
  • Napoléon Bonaparte
  • Czar
