Dang it Tim, I told you to refer to me as PowerGirl! Oh well, bound to get out at some point. Luckily, you made it easier, thanks! No, I'm not mad, I'm laughing as I'm typing this. <wink>
And by the way people, Texas is only partly desert. There's a lot of city area like where I live, although we have cow farms literally right next to busy roads, no joke! And please, don't think we all go around in cowboy hats and sayint "yee-haw" and "howdy" all the time. Do that in Dallas and you'd be either laughed out of town, ignored, shot angry annoyed looks, or seen as some crazy sterotypical tourists trying to fit in and failing horribly. But that would be funny though.......

In reply to berserker, do you want to know what texas looks like or something?
In reply to Kilroy, we DO have winter, which is soon by the way, we get thirties and forties and sometimes it ices and we usually get school canceled when it does. And I'll have you know, on Thanksgiving Day, it snowed for a few minutes at Texas Stadium where they were playing a football game. Yes, snowed. Uncommon here, but still possible.
Dallas is up in the northern eastern part of texas and I love winter. IN fact, I HATE our summers to the point where I lock myself indoors until school starts because the heat is too intense for me. Thank you and have a nice day.

not to sound horrible, or anything, but long distance relationships are almost always doomed to fail =(

Pff. My previous long distance relationship lasted 2 1/2 years. You just have to consider when you might be able to be properly together.

And anyway, there's as much chance of a short-distance relationship to fail, too. But this way, if you do break up, you don't have that chance of seeing them whenever you go into a shop/school/work/town! :D

Congrats KBABZ!

aye, to what Lady Macbeth said.

But then again, I dated a girl for four months, quasi long distance....we started dating while she was still living in N.Carolina, but then her family moved up to my home state, that was for a month before I had to leave for school down in Oregon(I live in Washington). It worked....for four months.

I think there's only room for one Tim_Tex. ;)

Anyway, if he does change his name to that, I'd love to see the duel at high noon on a dusty street. ;)

Well, it's not like I have a patent on that screen name.
