Pets your parents would never let you have?

I/We have cats, but I so want a dog! An Australian Shepard maybe, but they need to run so much and demand so much time.

I do like rats to though. But I can't manage any other pets next to the cats and I think nit would hardly survive with our cats anyway.

My mother is okay with all animals I think. Just not my grandma who owns the house - she'd throw me out with a rat in the house. When I brought in our newest cat, I wasn't allowed to tell her anything about it until a month after when we showed him to her. She liked him then, he was still a small kitten which probably helped to make him look friendly, sweet and harmless.

My mother is the one who'd start to harbour a zoo if anyone would let her, not me.

I really want a Dachshund but my mom says she isn't getting anymore dogs. I also would like to have a giant millipede or maybe a few Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, but I don't see those ever happening while I live with her.

A ladybug farm.

Mom would never let me have spiders... But I don't like them either

A bear, but NOBODY in the entire city would let me have a bear.

There was never a pet my parents never let me have. In fact at one point, I had to move out of my room and into my sisters because some of my pets took over lol I had:

Rabbit
Guinea Pigs
Hamsters
Gerbils
Rats
Dog
Anole (lizard)
Fish
Newt
Turtle

I'm surprised I never became a vet!

I wanted sea monkeys but my mother wouldnt buy them for me. Same with magic sand (which is not a pet).

I was very interested with what sea m,onkeys were and why tiny monkeys would swim around a tank.

We did have goldfish and a dog though.

A chameleon.

Seriously, I want a chameleon, but I can never seem to get the awesome things mom-approved!

I think these are also a no, but I never asked:

~Gecko - Mom hates Geico.
~Snake - Although I'd love to answer the door with a serpent coiled around my neck, I don't think my mother would appreciate the worried looks we got.
~Raven - Mom says no birds.
~Any lizard - Mom thinks they're ugly. *sad look*
~Scorpion - Just think about it for a second.


Meh.

My mom will never let my brother get a snake, and I'm thankful for that!

I wanted a hippo when I was 4, but mom said no. Moms can be so mean sometimes!









All she did was buy me that old "Hungry, Hungry Hippos" game.

Cats, dogs, anything with fur. I have mild asthma and they are paranoid about everything.

i always wanted either chilean rose tarantula or some bat or raichu. ^_^

I've always wanted a boa constrictor, but I know that I would never be allowed to have one.

Haha... originally my parents wouldn't let me have any pets at all. Then we got a few tortoises, then some bunnies, then a ferret or two; now we have a dog and two cats. :D

However, the animal I absolutely want more than anything and my parents will never let me have is a snake (ball python or corn snake). So cuuuute. ; ;

Funny how so may people here want snakes. I thought it was a pet that most people wanted to avoid.
