3. I want to finally get to be the Prince in the Nutcracker ballet.

You do ballet? I love ballet! I danced for thirteen years (quit when I was 16), and my mum is the artistic director of a pre-professional company. I go to college now, but I hope to become a ballet historian. If you want to talk about ballet, feel free to PM me.

Yep, I was a Nutcracker kid every XMAS back in my younger days in California. I started out playing Fritz (the brat who takes the doll from Clara and stomps on it). As I got older I moved on to the role of the wind-up soldier, but never got to be the Prince. I guess my dance company wasn't ready for a short, stocky prince with hearing aids...
Actually I was originally put in ballet class for therapy for my motor clumsiness. My family thought at first I would hate it, but I fell in love with it and I think it made me a better wrestler in school. By the way, judging from your picture, you would make an awesome Drosselmeyer!

I am not too sure about that. I am actually an 18 year old girl. My avatar is Hannibal Lecter, a character from a movie.

I just want to go the whole time I'm at my grandparetns' house without a major meltdown. THAT would be nice. Also probably unlikely, so I shouldn't pressure myself or it will exacerbate the problem.

Holidays are stressful...

I want Hugo Gernsback's Isolator. Perfect for the open-plan office I work in! :D

Dear Santabot,

I want all the starving children fed, all the abused animals saved, and everyone who wants to become a chef to sign up with the Cordon Bleu schools, so that I no longer have to watch their stupid commercials on TV!

Other than that, I'd like Santabot to replicate for me every canonical reference book for the AD&D, Stargate, and Traveller role-playing games.

Maybe you could fit in some ballroom dancing lessons for my wife and I too, please?

Thank you Santabot!

A cat and my parents' agreement that if I can't support it they'll do so for me (with the expectation that I'll be able to support it with my tutoring money, but enough to make us not worry about putting the cat before rent payments).

But that's not going to happen and I know it :(. I'll just have to keep saving money up until one of us has a job and we can not worry about money even with some money going towards a cat.

So what I'd like other than that... I'll go back to my old standby, books and surprises :p. (I'm really bad at these gift list things)

^ I bet the Random forum wasn't even created when this thread was made ;)

I would like a life, for Christmas.

A time machine, so I could travel back to the 60s and see The Kinks in person. I'm feeling materialistic, today.

The oldest post was created the same day this was. So, we'll never know. 8O

Oh? It seems this thread was made 2 days before random discussion - I bet this thread was the single reason Random Discussion was for-wait, why didn't they move it here? :P

Anyway...

I didn't even notice the thread was sooooooooo old!

I'm locking it to prevent anyone quoting posts from the last century.

Create a new Christmas list thread if you want one.
