How saddening.

In other news, last.fm has brought me to realize that this site disallowing animated avatars is very, very saddening.

Thanks Cornflake. I like the idea of having my identity intact on here. I'd hate it if everyone had rabbit related avatars. I'd feel so samey and unindividual.

Yes, quite. It's also confusing because they're all beginning to look alike and since I tend to identify posters by their avatars, things are being missed.

I can imagine it would mess things up a bit for your avatar / user relation. Hopefully the fad will die down in time.
