I love conkers. The trees are in flower at the moment and look beautiful. They are not native to the UK, they were introduced in the 1600s, but they are lovely.

They're stunning, aren't they?
My sister has a huge Victorian garden and there's a magnificent specimen growing in it, but like so many others in the UK it gets its leaves damaged by Horse Chestnut leaf miners. Over the past few years the leafiness has become progressively thinner, dying back earlier - and the poor thing looks very bedraggled.
Give it another month or so and it will start to look like it's Autumn - on just one tree! 8O

What's this cute and glowing thing?

I won't ruin it... All I'll say is that it's a natural unedited photo, taken at night. ;) (maybe it's the Easter Bunny!)

look look look! the easter bunny! actually he's been in my yard or close to it for most of the winter (don't know how he escapes the coyotes across the street, but anyways). also he is too trusting as he let me get very close (about 10 feet away).

he looks a little skinny so i left him some veggies.

you can see in the pics that my city is still unSprung, and it looks more like the end of winter. sorry for the quality - i only had my dumbphone handy.
