Ah, it's normal!
Last year it was the hottest I ever saw it, at 34

That's a normal summer temperature here. It's not uncommon for it to reach 40 degrees or a little higher. A couple of years ago, it got to 45. Now THAT was HOT!

Just to clarify, that was the temperature in my room.
It is very rare to see it above 32 outside; the hottest I've seen it this year I think was 29, and last year it was 33.
The UK record is 38.5

Where are you? There hasn't been rain here since Wednesday!

The forecast for the north west calls for no rain for the next week, predominantly partly cloudy and seasonal temperatures of around 19-22.
