My rat bit me.

my TV died yesterday. I pick up my new one in ten minutes.

It's September. Spiders, orange trees, leaves falling everywhere, days getting shorter, Halloween next month, then winter on its way. I can't bear it, I hate autumn. I want February to arrive.

Anxiety

I got ketchup on my pants, my white socks, and my comforter. And I had just washed my comforter on Saturday.

Today my dad and I brought a dresser to my apartment because I'm naïvely hoping I will keep my clothes in there instead of in bins on the floor. We wanted to buy an old one at a thrift store, but we couldn't find one that would fit in my closet (I need to put it in my closet so I have room for my desk and my bed in the rest of the room), so we had to buy a new one. A new dresser, of course, means an overpriced, cheaply made piece of s**t, and also one that you have to assemble yourself.

My dad and I have long said that we could make a comedy show out of "[Dad] and [UA] Try to Figure Things Out" because every time we do this, we have incomprehensible instructions, no clue what we're doing, and every possible thing goes wrong. We were hoping to get it done in an hour and it took two and a half hours. And also, it doesn't fit in my closet. But as if that wasn't enough, just as we started putting it together the electrical system in the building went crazy (most of the lights weren't working but some were, and the fridge and fans still worked) and the fire alarm downstairs started going off, all for no apparent reason. So my roommates were all trying to call the maintenance people and chaos was happening in the living room while my dad and I were arguing in my bedroom. And also, my dad and I couldn't read the instructions because the light wasn't working.

After several people had come and failed to figure out what was wrong, everything suddenly started working again, supporting my theory that no one in the world actually has any idea what they're doing and things just work out on their own. And throughout all of this the apartment was filled with bits of styrofoam that went everywhere when we opened the box the dresser came in. Now I have a dresser in the middle of my room because it doesn't fit in the closet, and my clothes are still in bins on the floor because after that I was too tired to put them away.

Anxiety

We now have 6 double deckers at work.

First got to know about Google imposing severe restrictions on Android applications that indirectly may affect me
Now just got to know 'bout "Chat Control" EU directive, which basically means total invasion of privacy (legislation of chat scanning, backdooring encryption to do that etc)
Is this a police state week or wut?

My neighbours have got a screw loose.

I felt sick on my first day back at work

I was just reminded how everything that brought me any real enjoyment as a kid is wrong now because of being outdated. Apparently I'm a horrible person just for reading and watching cartoons of Richie Rich because of it being "too materialistic".

I don't belong in this world. Not just because of my Asperger's, but because I was born in the 70s and every single thing I liked is wrong now. I hate this world, I want to go back in a time machine, I can't stand it anymore!!

It reminded me of my previous hamster that used to gently bite my fingers to inform me he wants to be released from hand. It was really softly that I just knew he did it but not felt any pain.
It's pretty interesting behaviour for being that's supposed to have just about 3IQ

I wish I had just cried and screamed and clung to my mother on my first day of school if I was that frightened, rather than go into school calmly and then display out of character behaviour that got everyone suspicious that I was being abused by my parents - which I wasn't. All that lead to me getting this stupid diagnosis in childhood, and I want to have got a diagnosis in adulthood like everyone else on the spectrum.

Wow, hamsters only have an IQ of 3?
Apparently rats have an IQ of 105, which is remarkable and is why I love them. My rat bit me because he seemed in a bad mood and didn't feel like being handled. I should have known better, as he gets depressed sometimes because the others leave him out.

Rats have complex social behaviours like humans do. They form cliques and gather around a rat that has the most social skills that we can't really see with the naked eye, obviously because rats don't talk like humans do. They can even line their toys up neatly and stash food away neatly in a special corner.

Also they can be trained to do tricks like dogs and respond to their name.
